Perfectly located between Nelson and the Abel Tasman National Park in Tasman, near Mapua and Ruby Bay, it gives you the ideal base for visiting the best the Nelson region has to offer.

Overlooking the village of Tasman, Wharetutu is in a serene location, enjoying all day sun, and beautiful views. Take a day out from your busy schedule, and take time to relax around our pool, in the spa (hot tub) or play a game of pétanque. Remember Nelson is the sunniest place in New Zealand.

All the guest rooms have televison,comfortable quality bedding, bathroom en suite with robes, demist mirror and heated towel rails and floor. Sliding glass doors leads out to a private patio area. The guest dining room, where a sumptuous breakfast is served, has a fridge, microwave, coffee and tea making facilities. The guest lounge has a TV and DVD player. There is also a laundry service and free wireless Internet access. Telephone calls to Australia and the UK are available at a very reasonable charge.

We will be back...

There are few places that one can truly recommend without reservation and this is one such establishment – from the stylish, spacious rooms, space and privacy in the dining and lounge area (so unexpected but welcome in a B&B). The views were stunning – so much so we returned with fresh French bread, smoked salmon and strawberries all bought at nearby Mapua and enjoyed beautiful sunset dinner sitting outside – unbeatable! The gracious hosts added the final touch, we will be back!
